Join Kingdom of Fife Orienteers

Becoming a member of Kingdom of Fife Orienteers is a great way to get more involved in orienteering, enjoy discounted event entries, meet other members, and support the future of the club.

In common with other orienteering clubs in Scotland, members can choose the membership route that best suits their needs. You can join KFO through either Scottish Orienteering or British Orienteering, depending on the type of events you plan to take part in.

If you are likely to take part mainly in Scottish events or local events closer to home, joining KFO and Scottish Orienteering is usually the most suitable option. If you need full British Orienteering insurance cover as a club or event official, or you want to compete in major British Championship events across the UK, you may prefer to join through British Orienteering.

Membership Options

  • Senior – any member aged 21 or older on 31 December of the membership year
  • Junior – any member aged 20 or younger on 31 December of the membership year
  • Young adult – any member aged between 21 and 25 on 31 December
  • Family – two adults and one or more children

The membership year runs from January to December. Anyone joining after 1 November receives the rest of that year free.
